Training

We pride ourselves in offering all IAT employees the opportunity to explore the full scope of our business and learn everything they can. Our company actively supports this through our tuition assistance program, continued insurance education offered through The Institutes, and IAT University. 

For those new to the insurance industry, we provide unique training that can lead to rewarding careers. This includes our Internship Program as well as our Underwriter and Claims Trainee Program.

Internship Program

At IAT, interns are valued members of the company. Our internship program provides meaningful, challenging work that lets qualified students experience every facet of our operations. IAT interns participate in real-world situations, receive on-the-job training and gain valuable industry experience and technical skills that contribute to their professional growth.

Underwriter and Claims Trainee Program

Our Underwriter and Claims Trainee Program is designed to launch a rewarding career in the insurance industry. We provide structured training that includes both live sessions with subject matter experts and field work to develop practical skills. The Trainee program also allows the opportunity to travel for hands-on training and agency visits. Depending on their interests and talents, participants choose between the claims program and underwriter program.
